My Writings

Poetry came to me quite naturally. I love poetry, particularly, that rhyme. Classical Sanskrit, English and Bengali meters intrigue me the most. Not a nig fan of blank verses.

The writings of Mark Twain and Rabindranath Tagore are the two of my most favorites authors who inspired me most to write short stories.I hope to write more, time permitting,  in the coming days.

I had written several plays for the stage. My early plays were for my children’s theater group in Kolkata.  Later on, I wrote several play, for Atlanta Theater Workshop and other organizations.
